Narrative or non-standard assessments were specifically designed for lower LSM, they are cost effective, the vocabulary speaks to lower LSM and can be discussed, and explained. There is significantly less anxiety and they can be conducted by trained trainers. Standard or 'off the shelf assessments' are expensive, must be conducted by a psychologist or psychometrist, and generally the vocabulary is beyond the grasp of lower LSM inducing high levels of anxiety.
